"As musicians it is our duty and responsibility to be ambassadors for music; to touch people’s lives; and to connect the mind, body, and spirit.”
Victoria has been teaching for over ten years and has twenty-five years music performance experience. Trained in both Classical and Suzuki violin, she completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Kennesaw State University. As a violinist, Victoria was a frequent performer with the Southern Crescent Symphony Orchestra. Her performances include Handel’s “Messiah” and “Hansel & Gretel”. She was a Concert Recitalist at the Georgia Music Teachers Association Conference as a result of having won both the Award of Excellence and the Outstanding Performer Award.
As a music instructor, she enjoys teaching genres such as Classical, Suzuki, Contemporary, Orchestral, Chamber, Pop, and Art Song. Victoria teaches a variety of students of all ages with varying levels from beginner to advanced; including piano students as young as four years of age.
She believes learning music aids in the learning process of different subject areas. Music enhances listening skills, memory, increased vocabulary, body coordination, creativity, emotional responses, and perception of sound which is all essential throughout our lives.
During each lesson, she helps each student to keep track of their progress. Victoria believes learning music for all ages can be fun, exciting, and enjoyable. Music and instructing are her passions and she strives for the very best for each student.
Students are given the opportunity to perform solos at The Music Garden recitals, held in December and May.
